went to the cinema

It is now 4-day holidays in Japan.
Today's sky was brilliant.

I went to the movie "MILK". This is about life of Harvey Milk. 
I thought, not only gay(I am straight), a minority is vulnerable to attack.
But they(myself included) doesn't need to abandon hope.
A life needs hope.

And, Sean Penn is always wonderful acting.
Also really cool, Emile Hirsch and Alison Pill.

Do you know the lucky dragon?

1 March, 1954
Eastward 160 kilometers(80 miles) from the Bikini atolls,
Daigo Fukuryū Maru encountered H-bomb test by the United States.
The fishing vessel and the crew was exposed to white nuclear fallout there.
Chief radio operator, Aikichi Kuboyama didn't send a message of
bomb test to Japan. He thought, "If U.S. army get the radio transmission,
we may be target by destruction of evidence..."

14 March, 1954
In the early morning, Fukuryū Maru was back in the home port of Yaizu.
Twenty-three crew suffered from atomic-bomb disease.
They brought back white fallout that became important evidence.

23 September, 1954
Aikichi Kuboyama was dead.
He said, it is no use to do any more.














Later, Ben Shahn produced works about Kuboyama and Fukuryū Maru.

People who was damaged was not only Fukuryū Maru's crew.
And we should remember this affair.

good-bye television

The rainy season passed, the hot summer sun has come.
The ice in a glass turn round and sound...

I discarded television, and gave a co-worker audio system.
Therefore, my room was a little light.
Now, TV program is all similar contents and performers,
and NHK's viewing fee(16,000JPYen per year) has felt
"mottai-nai" against my viewing time.
The too much audio device replaced ipod.
A exaggerated system doesn't need anymore.

I'm going to have friends over, after my room's arrangement. :)

get on a bus

Last Friday, I left on the bus for part of the way home.
Usually, I take the underground railway. Short trip of the bus relaxed
my mind. Why? I thought, a bus is not noisy starting sound and announce
of train. And, a bus is slowly and not busy(It is not pressed for time.
Needless to say, I don't like crowded bus or big late coming...).














If you choose different way from usual, you may change feeling.

a new novel

I'm reading Haruki Murakami's new novel.
I don't know why I'm so into the story.
